Surfing out the Metaverse

Surfing Out of the Metaverse,” a dynamic artwork crafted from recycled carbon fiber. This piece redefines the conventional practice of translating real objects into the virtual world by drawing a kitesurf board from the digital realm into reality. Designed by the artist, this board symbolizes the exhilarating rush of adrenaline felt during extreme sports.

The artwork draws a striking parallel with the renowned “Cristo Velato,” a sculpture famed for its intricate detailing of tissue waves in marble. In “Surfing Out of the Metaverse,” the artist masters carbon fiber to achieve a similarly precious effect. Despite its appearance of soft, flowing tissue, the material is in fact a very rigid structure, showcasing the artist’s technical prowess and innovative use of advanced materials.

“Surfing Out of the Metaverse” is an invitation to bring the vibrancy and excitement of the virtual world into our tangible experiences. The artist’s use of carbon fiber, known for its strength and lightweight properties, adds depth and resilience to the piece. The board’s intricate design and bold colors capture the essence of adventure and the human spirit’s drive to explore beyond boundaries.

This artwork challenges viewers to break free from the confines of the digital world and immerse themselves fully in real-life experiences. It celebrates the fusion of technology and nature, urging us to balance our virtual engagements with genuine, physical adventures. “Surfing Out of the Metaverse” is not just a piece of art; it’s a call to action to live life to the fullest and embrace the thrill of the unknown

The Avatar

Introducing “Avatar,” an artwork that delves deep into the concept of identity and transformation. Crafted from recycled carbon fibers, this piece features an ironic mask emerging from a flat surface, symbolizing the duality and complexity of modern existence.

“Avatar” is a reflection on how we present ourselves to the world, drawing parallels with the digital avatars we create online. The use of recycled carbon fibers adds a layer of historical depth, as these materials once served in high-stakes environments like aircraft and race cars, now repurposed to embody new forms and narratives.

The intricate textures and reflective qualities of the carbon fiber mask create a mesmerizing play of light and shadow, emphasizing the idea of emerging from the flat, two-dimensional plane into a more complex and three-dimensional existence. This transformation is akin to the journey from virtual representation to real- life presence, urging viewers to consider the layers of their own identities.

“Avatar” invites the audience to explore the themes of authenticity and facade, highlighting the continuous interplay between our true selves and the personas we project. This piece is not just a visual spectacle but a profound commentary on the human condition in the digital age, making it a captivating addition to any collection.

Dimensions: 140cm x 80cm x 200cm (h)
Material: Recycled carbon of aeronautical origin, steel, crystal, antique wood, historical newspapers, led
Technique: handmade, hand-polished, antique and modern components, original Napster title, led lighting

The Napster

“The Napster,” an evocative artwork that tells the story of freedom, innovation, and resistance. Created using recycled carbon fibers, this piece captures the essence of Napster, the groundbreaking company that revolutionized music sharing before being shut down for copyright violations.

The original stock certificate of Napster is encapsulated within a carbon fiber and glass structure, symbolizing a two-dimensional prison for the spirit of music freedom. The glass is painted with vibrant, multicolored galaxies, representing the boundless potential and expansive nature of music. This prison, forged by the system to control and contain, seems to float in the universe, reflecting the eternal struggle for freedom and expression.

To emphasize the narrative of resistance and liberation, the glass and carbon structure is broken and cut, symbolizing the ongoing efforts to break free from the confines imposed by the system. The fractures and cuts suggest a forceful attempt to release the Napster spirit, highlighting the resilience and determination of those who believe in the free sharing of music.

Further accentuating this struggle, the entire structure is bound with steel cables, signifying the tightening grip of the system on music freedom. The rhomboid shape appears suspended in mid-air, intersecting with a 1700s- style sofa. This juxtaposition symbolizes the enduring power of aristocracy and control over the stock market, represented by a collection of financial newspapers.

“The Napster” stands as a powerful statement on the tension between innovation and regulation, freedom and control. It invites viewers to reflect on the ongoing battle for creative freedom and the impact of corporate and legal systems on cultural expression. This artwork is a tribute to the spirit of Napster and the broader fight for the free flow of information and creativity.

The Joker

Introducing “The Jocker,” an innovative artwork crafted from recycled carbon fibers, blending high technology and artistic expression. This piece features the iconic Batman character, the Joker, depicted in a unique and thought-provoking manner.

The base of the artwork is made from recycled carbon fibers, a material that once belonged to aircraft or race cars, now repurposed through proprietary technology. This transformation gives the artwork a rich history and a sense of depth, as if the carbon fibers carry memories of their past lives filled with adrenaline and adventure.

The painting uses acrylics to bring the Joker to life, and a special effect covers his face with a smoky haze, reminiscent of Dorian Gray’s portrait. This parallel draws on the themes of hidden darkness and the gradual revelation of a character’s true nature. While Dorian Gray’s painting ages and becomes grotesque, the Joker’s dark side becomes more apparent as his story unfolds.

The artwork’s intricate detailing and use of bright colors on the textured carbon fibers create a dynamic and reflective surface, enhancing its visual impact. “The Jocker” stands as a testament to the artist’s ability to merge advanced materials with deep, resonant themes, making it a captivating addition to any collection.

This piece invites viewers to delve into the complex character of the Joker, exploring the duality of appearance and reality, and the hidden facets of human nature. It is a striking example of how recycled materials can be transformed into powerful artistic expressions, bridging the gap between technology and art.

Manifestation

Manifestation
Recycled Carbon Fiber and Mixed Media – 2025

“Manifestation” captures the exact moment before thought becomes matter, where inner vibration aligns with outer reality. Like a symphony of energy in perfect resonance, this artwork expresses the electric tension that precedes the emergence of desire—or fear—into the tangible world.

The crystalline shards and vibrant wave forms are not mere abstraction: they represent intention taking shape, slicing through resistance, organizing chaos. Each color is a frequency, each line a trajectory of consciousness.

Crafted on a carbon fiber base—symbol of strength, memory, and speed—the piece serves as a portal between dimensions. Just like manifestation itself, it is not passive: it’s charged, radiant, irreversible.

“Manifestation” is a visual mantra, reminding us that reality begins where energy meets belief. It invites the viewer not only to contemplate the nature of creation, but to participate in it.

Introducing “The King Pfizer,” a thought-provoking artwork created during the Covid-19 period, capturing the immense power and influence of Pfizer and the pharmaceutical industry. This piece uses the medium of scripophily, featuring an original historic stock certificate of Pfizer (of the 1953) encapsulated within a recycled carbon fiber shell.
